Training & Technical Assistance
The Pathways Housing First model has been implemented in hundreds of communities across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia and is widely regarded as the most effective, evidence-based practice to end homelessness. The Canadian Government, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The State of Utah, and the 100,000 Homes Campaign are just some examples of the organizations that have embraced Housing First. If you would like to bring the Pathways' Housing First model to your community, we offer consultation and technical assistance to help you do so.
Pathways to Housing National's comprehensive Training Institute provides agencies with the training and technical assistance necessary to transition to Housing First. Dr. Sam Tsemberis, creator of the Housing First model and Pathways to Housing DC Board Member, leads the training faculty, which includes expert clinicians, housing specialists, and researchers. The Pathways National team helps communities and agencies plan, implement, and sustain the Housing First model.
